            Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management is located in Nagpur. The institute was founded in 1984 by the Shri Ramdeobaba Sarvajanik Samiti. Crossing over four decades, the institute has established and secured its place in the technical education department in the country. The college is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Nagpur University, Nagpur. The college has 17 academic departments: Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics Design Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Humanities, Mathematics, Physics, Physical Education, Computer Application, Management Technology and Sanskrit. RCOEM offers BE, MBA, MCA, M.Tech and PhD programmes.

            The institute’s faculty is recognised for its testing and consultancy work for clients like MCGM, MMRDA, MIDC, MJP, Shapoorji Palonji, Godrej, Mahindra, etc. Sponsored laboratories at the institute include the high voltage laboratory, courtesy Siemens; and the Computational Fluid Dynamics laboratory, courtesy B.A.R.C. The institute is popularly known for its programmes in Engineering and Technology at the diploma, degree, postgraduate and doctoral levels.
