Army Institute of Technology
Army Institute of Technology was established in the year 1994 and set-up by Gen B.C. Joshi who was the then Chief of the Indian Army. AIT is located at Dighi Hills, Pune, Maharashtra, India. The institute is affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University and approved by the AICTE, NBA and NAAC with A grade accreditation. AIT has been ranked 91 in 2019 and 109 in 2020 among Engineering institutes by NIRF.
BE and ME degree programs are offered by the Army Institute of Technology, which are AICTE approved and affiliated to Savitribhai Phule Pune University. Admissions to the B.E. program requires students to be JEE Mains qualified along with 50% aggregate overall in 10+2 and in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology, etc.M.E. admissions at Army Institute of Technology requires applicants to qualify GATE and have 50% in a relevant field of B.E./B.Tech.
Various scholarships ranging from INR 10,000 to INR 25,000 are offered to needy/deserving/meritorious/girl child students who are wards of army personnel.
The college has a track record of 90% for offering placements to students with high CTCs. More than 70 leading industries recruit students from the Army Institute of Technology every year.
